The Confined Flow Underdrain System, composed of Pluvitec Blocks and Crepines (Underdrain Nozzles), a brand of Hidro Solo specialized in water treatment and irrigation solutions, is part of the modernization works at the Central Water Treatment Plant (ETA) in Brusque, Santa Catarina.

According to the Municipal Autonomous Water and Sewer Service (SAMAE) of Brusque, the acquisition of the new underdrain system modernizes the filtration system of the Central ETA, improving water filtration quality and backwash efficiency.

Carried out throughout 2024, the renovation of the six filters at the Central ETA covers a total area of 96.16 m². The new confined flow underdrain system installed at the Central ETA will enable a saving of 140,000 liters of water per day, thanks to its efficiency in the distribution rate of filtration and backwashing with air and water.
