Pluvitec^® Blocks and Crepines are part of the confined fund underdrain system developed by Hidro Solo and are part of the company's range of innovations for Water Treatment. The advantages of Pluvitec^® Blocks and Crepines are diverse:

The Pluvitec^® Blocks are produced in high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and the Crepines have a shell injected in engineering plastic with a high fiberglass load (PA6-GF30), which, with its shape and overlapping discs, makes it completely collapse proof. This makes the cost of early dismantling of the filter for repair completely non-existent.

The constructive shape of the disc and the number of them mounted on the same Crepine, provides to each one a total passage area of more than 30 cm², with an individual opening (each groove) of 2 mm. This gives it very low pressure loss. The Crepines on the market today have a passage area of 2 to 3 cm², that is, 10 times less. As the backwash flow rate is 3 to 4 times the operation flow, the large passage and low pressure loss are even more important.
