Hidro Solo will be present at another edition of FENASAN, the largest Water and Environmental Sanitation Fair in Latin America, which will take place from October 22 to 24 at the São Paulo Expo. On this occasion, the brand will showcase its main products and technologies, which are a consolidated reference in innovation in Brazil, at booth L22.

One of the products is the Pluvitec® Blocks and Collectors, which are part of the confined flow bottom system developed by Hidro Solo and are among the company's range of innovations for Water Treatment. These are high-quality products with technical studies attesting to their importance (click here) and are present in water treatment plant filters in dozens of locations across Brazil.

Pluvitec Blocks are made of high-impact polystyrene, and the Collectors have a casing injected with engineering plastic with high fiberglass content, which, with its shape and overlapping discs, makes them completely collapse-proof, preventing the premature dismantling of the filter for repair.

Effluent Treatment with Disc Filtration Systems

In addition to the Pluvitec® Blocks and Collectors, Disc Filtration Systems will also be displayed at FENASAN. These are devices that work in the removal of suspended solids and are used as a polishing stage for effluents and in the intake of raw water from small water treatment plants, as you can see in this video of a SABESP/SP water treatment plant.

The systems consist of Automatic Disc Filters, which bring centrifugal flow, and are available in T and H shapes. The body material is Polyamide with Fiberglass, and the discs are made of Polypropylene. The systems also include Backwash Valves and a Control Panel with differential pressure switch.

Efficient Operation

The automatic disc filters have a piston on the upper part; during the backwash process, the piston is activated by its own pressure, compressing it and causing the discs to separate. This makes the backwash process more efficient due to the tangential jets. Watch the video of its operation HERE.
