Product Description

Sand filters Pluvitec are manufactured under the most stringent criteria in order to provide the market a product above international standards.

To optimize this performance, we have developed and patented our own crepina high performance which, combined with a good spatial distribution, allows us to have one of the lowest loss in the market charging filters.

A high-tech treatment with pickling, phosphatizing and application of epoxy resin and polyester resin powder, applied electrostatically to 90,000 volts, and cured in an oven at 230 °C ensures a high quality protection, both in relation to water and contaminants, as the ultra violet, can be installed in the field, in the open, ensuring life for many years.

* Nominal flow rate based on a filtration of 360 m³/m².day

** Maximum working pressure calculated in view of the ASME regulation Section VIII, Division 1.

*** Sand volume calculated based on a 0.7 m high bed.

**** The cylindrical height is equal to 1 meter in all models.

*****  Backwash flow rate determined by a rise velocity of 0.02 m/s, using the recommended sand particle size which is 0.6 to 1.0 mm, yielding an approximate 30% expansion.
